Welcome!

Portrait

I am a professor of control engineering at the Technische Universität Berlin. Previously, I was a junior professor of autonomous systems in automation at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg.

My path into research began with a degree in systems engineering and technical cybernetics, followed by a doctorate in Ireland and Australia.

Today, I am interested in the question of how dynamic systems can be scaled, stabilized, and controlled efficiently. I am particularly interested in modern methods of control engineering, the analysis of two-dimensional and Hamiltonian systems, and their application in real technical contexts.
